Personal

I participated in many different sports growing up including rugby, athletics, and swimming. Like many who are keen to improve, I was set back by injuries and training errors. Rupturing my ACL during a rugby game as a 17-year-old and going through my own rehabilitation journey was a particularly tough experience.

This led me to start my degree in Sport Rehabilitation at St Mary’s University. To this day, my values of starting my career remain the same, to help others and give back with what I required when I grew up participating in sport.

 Coaching journey

After graduating from my degree, I was fortunate to begin my career working for the Ministry of Defence at Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court. During my time spent there, I was providing exercise rehabilitation support to injured service personnel with complex injuries and conditions.

I have also spent time in several different sporting environments including coaching university multi-sport scholars and professional academies in rugby and football. I have also had exposure with senior teams in semi-professional netball and rugby. During these roles, I have been fortunate to find some great mentors and have a supporting team around me. Some highlights include winning U18 premiership with London Irish in 2020 and the National 1 Rugby league with Cambridge RFC in 2023.
